Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a complete service to the benefit of members and the community in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

Privacy Policy

Kedron Wavell Services Club is committed to the Queensland Club Industry Privacy Code that stipulates the privacy obligations of the Club in relation to its members and patrons.

Listed below are the key elements of the Privacy Code:

- The Club will collect personal information that is necessary for the Club to meet or fulfil its activities and functions and is also required by law. The information can include the name, address, gender etc relating to membership applications at the Club and other information collected as the result of accessing the facilities and services provided by the Club such as player loyalty systems.

The Club will use lawful and fair means that are not intrusive to collect personal information. Where lawful and practical, the Club will provide members and patrons with a choice of interacting anonymously with the Club.

- The Club will use personal information in ways that are legal, fair and ethical and where practicable will seek the consent of the members and patron about whom the information relates before using the personal information.

- The Club will disclose personal information in circumstances when it is required by law, including to third parties that provide services under contract to the Club. Where lawful, the club will also disclose personal information for promotional and marketing activities or other secondary purposes.

- The Club will provide opportunities to patrons and members to access the information held about them by the Club to the extent provided by law and will promptly correct the information if advised in writing that the information is not accurate, complete or up to date.

- The Club has procedures in place to facilitate privacy complaints where the member or patron must first contact the Privacy Officer at the Club before approaching the Privacy Commissioner. If this facilitation is notto the satisfaction of the complainant, the Club will advise the member or patron to refer the complaint to the Privacy Commission.

Gaming and Liquor

Responsible Gaming is important to Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc.
Whilst the majority of people game responsibly, a small percentage of people may experience difficulties associated with their gaming behaviours.

Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc. offers free, confidential service providing information and referrals for professional counselling.

House Policy

The Kedron-Wavell Services Club has developed a House Policy which is
available to all Members and Guests upon request. This Policy is part of the
Club’s program to provide leadership in all aspects of club service and
management.


The House Policy outlines our commitment to ensure that our Members and
Guests are provided with a safe environment whilst they are on our premises.
Kedron-Wavell Services Club has carefully developed these guidelines in
accordance with Queensland Liquor Licensing Legislation.

The House Policy informs patrons how Staff are trained in ensuring the
responsible service of alcohol and that Staff training on matters of patron care
is a priority for the Club.

Dress Code

The Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc. has an enviable reputation for service, dress and behaviour standards.

Dress Regulations are to ensure that standards of comfort, safety, neatness, cleanliness and appearance are met.

Please be advised that the following items of clothing and accessories are not permitted to be worn in the Club at any time.

UNACCEPTABLE CASUAL WEAR

  • Singlets, tank tops or swimwear
  • Gym/exercise gear
  • Torn or dirty clothing
  • Provocative clothing and/or provocative slogans on clothing
  • Soiled sportswear
  • Bare feet
  • Hats or head wear are not permitted for males only
    (head wear only permitted for medical or religious grounds)

Management reserves the right to modify or change dress regulations without notice.

Management’s decision will be final and no further discussions will be entered into.
