Be a part of the poker phenomenon!

Kedron-Wavell Services Club is the place to be Monday nights as the popular texas hold ‘em poker phenomenon is drawing locals and poker league fanatics to take part in the Australian Poker League tournament.

The club is one of the first venues in Queensland to introduce the free “play for fun” texas poker tournaments. Tournament facilitators the Australian Poker League have been operating a national league for some time but Queenslander’s have just been introduced to the craze since July.

Participants play for points which are added to leader boards and the more you play the more points you will get (sessions last 12 weeks)



Prizes total over $1 million dollars a year and include invitations to:
$75,000 cash prize tournaments held every three months
$500,000 cash prize tournaments held once a year.

Airfares, accommodation and a $5,000 entry paid to a major tournament in Sydney.
Nightly prizes include a collectors edition Card protector and everyone accumulates “Frequent Player Points” which can be redeemed for items in our online poker shop.



Registration takes place in the KWSC Club foyer between 6pm and 6.45pm before the tournaments commences at 7pm.
